Veteran singers Mary Jane Alm, Boyd Lee, Aimée Lee, Paul Frantzich and Tim Frantzich, along with a stellar lineup of musicians will walk you through the streets of this magical place and time. You will hear the stories of some of your favorite musicians. Your memory will be flooded with songs from The Association, The Turtles, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, James Taylor, Buffalo Springfield, Brian Wilson, The Jefferson Airplane and more … all who resided in this beautiful bubble of creativity, friendship, sunshine and music.

 

This show brings together what happened in this magical place, when it was just the right time, just the right space, with just the right musicians … in a very special moment in time that created the songs of Laurel Canyon.

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2007.

Join us as we celebrate his vast catalog of music with an all-star ensemble of Minnesota musicians featuring Mary Jane Alm, Boyd and Aimee Lee, Jeff Engholm, Brian Ziemniak, and many others!  This promises to be a night to remember from the people who brought you “Forever Everly – The Duets of the Everly Brothers” and “Rainy Days & Mondays – The Music of The Carpenters”.

The Everly Brothers combined their two voices for a distinctive harmony that was wrapped around some of the finest songs of the early rock era.  A major influence on the Beatles and virtually every vocal act that followed, the Everlys were also able to cross genres and had both pop and country hits.

 

This joyous performance features an all-star band and five wonderful vocalists, (including Mary Jane Alm, Boyd & Aimee Lee, and brothers Paul & Tim Frantzich) all taking turns pairing up to interpret the rich and varied musical catalog of the legendary duo.

Barry Gibb is simply one of the greatest Pop songwriters of his generation.  The songs he wrote and performed with his brothers Maurice and Robin are stylistically beautiful and undeniably songwriting gems.  From Barry is a show that will honor the early work of the Brothers Gibb with songs like RUN TO ME, I GOT TO GET A MESSAGE TO YOU, WORDS, MASSACHUSETTS and many more.  But just as much as beautiful ballads defined the Bee Gee's, the groove was just as important with songs like JIVE TALKIN. KNIGHTS ON BROADWAY and of course their internationally acclaimed songs from Saturday Night Fever. Featuring the vocals of Mick Sterling, Boyd Lee and Wayne Cullinan, along with Mary Jane Alm, Cate Fierro and Aimee Lee, the songs of Barry Gibb will be handled by a huge band and (6) vocalists to match the incredible harmonies and melodies that could only come From Barry.
